The Genesis of Castify: Bridging the Gap

The idea for Castify was born from a simple observation: while smartphones have become ubiquitous and incredibly powerful cameras, and most homes and offices have reliable WLAN, there was no straightforward, affordable way to combine these assets for live, multi-angle streaming to a large display. Traditional digital videocorders and broadcasting setups remained out of reach for many small organizations, churches, and independent creators.

Prosper Samuel Edoki saw this as an opportunity to innovate. He envisioned a software that could harness the existing infrastructure – phones, PCs, and Wi-Fi – to create a flexible, high-quality streaming solution. The development focused on WebRTC for low-latency transmission and a modular design to ensure ease of use and scalability.

From initial sketches to robust code, Castify evolved into a comprehensive platform that delivers on its promise: making professional live event streaming accessible to all.
